Tech Data to support growth in security sales with Proofpoint partnership

Basingstoke, 07 June 2021 – Tech Data has signed a distribution partnership with Proofpoint and will be supporting existing and new reseller partners and MSPs to take the company’s cloud-based email security solutions and security awareness training services to a wider market.

Tech Data will actively support partners addressing the SMB sector with enablement, education, and marketing support, along with sales and technical expertise provided by its specialist Security Practice.

The cloud-based Proofpoint Essentials service can be used as an add-on for Microsoft email, providing centralised protection, with automatic updates and pre-filtering. Proofpoint’s Continuous Training Methodology service is designed to engage and educate users on cybersecurity.
