Strengthens mobile portfolio with Silent Circle devices and software solution for mobile security in the enterprise
Barcelona, 13 September 2016 – Tech Data Europe today announced a new Europe-wide agreement with Silent Circle, a global leader in mobile security. Silent Circle offers private and encrypted mobile devices, software applications, and communication management services to corporations, governments and individuals worldwide.
Customers across the company’s entire European footprint now have easy access to the full range of Silent Circle products and solutions including:
- Blackphone, a smartphone device that is private by design. Blackphone runs on Silent OS, an enhanced Android operating system, and carries a suite of apps designed to keep enterprise and personal information separate and private.
- Silent Phone, an app which works on any device, enabling encrypted, secure voice calls, conference calling, video conferencing, text messaging and file transfers.
- Silent Manager, a simple and secure cloud-based management console for enterprises to manage Silent Circle users, groups, plans and devices.
