  • New partnership enables Microsoft partners to take advantage of growing demand for Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Affordable, quick to deploy solution gives sales teams the tools and the confidence they need

Basingstoke, 08 November 2018 Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD), is partnering with Microsoft cloud solutions specialist Axon IT, making it easy for resellers to take advantage of the growing opportunities to provide the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solution to their customers.

The agreement will give Tech Data reseller partners access to Axon’s Dynamics-Go ‘CRM in a box’ offering, which provides a pre-defined framework for selling and setting up Dynamics 365, backed by expert consultancy and support.

Dynamics Go has been developed for SMBs that want to improve their sales process without having to invest in heavy up-front consultancy costs. It makes it easier for resellers to offer the CRM solution without having to first develop their own capabilities in the solution.

“The whole idea is to make it simpler for Microsoft partners to exploit opportunities with Dynamics”, said Tim Mears, Managing Director of Axon. “Most Microsoft partners offering Office 365 and Azure-based solutions will also uncover potential for Dynamics 365 CRM, but don’t have the skills and confidence to follow them through. Our ‘in a box’ offering makes it completely straightforward. It’s affordable, quick to deploy and will give the reseller’s sales team the tools and the confidence they need to seize the day and take those opportunities.”

Nick Stancliffe, Business Development Manager, Modern Workplace Solutions at Tech Data UK, added: “Dynamics Go is ideal for the many Microsoft partners who are building their cloud business through Microsoft CSP with Office 365 and Azure. They often uncover opportunities for Dynamics 365 but lack the capability to exploit them. Our partnership with Axon will enable them to do that, meet the end customer’s needs, and add a further revenue stream to their business.”

Partners who make use of the Dynamics 365 CRM service will engage directly with Axon, while Tech Data will provide provisioning and billing support for subscriptions through its StreamOne platform. Dynamics Go offers excellent value and good repeatable earning potential for partners.

Tech Data is planning to make additional solutions that are complementary to the Microsoft Modern Workplace available. It recently announced the availability of telephony solutions from The Voice of Office 365 and discussions with other suppliers are taking place.

Tech Data aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions around the Modern Workplace and Microsoft’s Azure platform. These will be made available to partners, providing them with more ways to add value, drive revenues and profits and increase customer satisfaction as they build and develop their reputation as a trusted advisor on Microsoft cloud solutions.

Tech Data is keen to hear from any ISV or partner that has a solution or service they believe can be replicated successfully through its Microsoft cloud ecosystem. Any interested party should email Nicholas.Stancliffe@techdata.co.uk.
