New future-proofed device provides SMB customers with extended range and consistent performance to make full use of fast fibre connections and drive hosted voice sales

Romford, 18 July 2017 – DMSL, the specialist broadband and hosted voice services distributor, says that the release of the new BT Business Smart Hub is a smart move by the company that will help resellers to sell more superfast fibre services.

The BT Business Smart Hub supports the download /upload speeds of up to 76/19Mbps now available on BT’s FTTC Infinity service. Extra built-in antennas give the hub an extended Wi-Fi range and the new BT Smart Scan feature continuously optimises wireless connections to ensure the strongest, most reliable signal available is used, providing a better experience for users and boosting productivity.

The hub is tailored for business, with static IP, security firewall functions and optimised for VoIP, making it an ideal platform for resellers to offer customers BT’s hosted voice services. With next-generation, future-proofed capabilities, it will also support future ultra-fast services and additional devices, protecting customer investments. It can also be used to turn their workplace into a BT Wi-Fi hotspot – a service unique to BT.

“The launch of the new BT Smart Hub is a smart move by BT,” said Managing Director of DMSL, John Carter. “It adds even more appeal to BT fibre services and will make them even easier to sell. Wi-Fi is absolutely essential to all businesses. People expect to be able to connect to Wi-Fi all over a premises and get dependable performance. The new Smart Hub gives them that consistency and with its added features, it’s an ideal platform on which to sell BT hosted voice as well.”

The hub is available free of charge for all new BT copper and fibre customers (plus £8.50 delivery), and for existing copper customers upgrading to fibre services. It is otherwise available for just £55, plus delivery. As an added benefit for business users who work at home, the BT Sport app is now included with new sales of Broadband Premium, Infinity Unlimited and Infinity Premium.

DMSL is a BT Premier Partner and has a complete programme that supports resellers in driving sales of BT superfast fibre connections, voice and mobile services. DMSL has signed more than 70 partners for its Broadband and Phones initiative, which it launched in March. This provides resellers with their own constantly-updated web pages that compare the different services available from key suppliers. DMSL will also provide marketing resources for local business events and run targeted lead-generation campaigns for resellers. For more information, see http://broadbandandphones.co.uk/
