Distributor predicts that the arrival of the iPhone 8 – and the 10-year anniversary X model in November – will tempt more business users to make the switch to BT Mobile

Romford, 22 September 2017 – DMSL, a Premier Partner of BT is expecting to see a surge of enquiries from dealers with customers eager to upgrade to the new Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which go on sale today on BT Mobile.

John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL, said: “The wait is over and business customers can now get the new iPhones on BT Mobile. This is a great opportunity for resellers to leverage the potency of two of the best-known and trusted brands in the technology market. We can show them how to do that and deliver this dynamic and powerful new smartphone to their B2B customers.”

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus feature a new glass and aluminium design made with the most durable glass ever in a smartphone. The new A11 Bionic chip is the most powerful and smartest ever in an iPhone. Plus, stereo speakers are up to 25 percent louder than the iPhone 7, the advanced cameras get even better and wireless charging brings a powerful new capability to iPhone.

With BT Mobile, business owners can stay connected wherever their business takes them. They can get online without using their data allowance with free access to over five million BT Wi-fi hotspots in the UK and have freedom to roam with inclusive EU roaming allowances on calls, texts, and data.

In addition to the iPhone 8, the ten-year anniversary edition iPhone X will go on-sale on Friday 3rd November and is expected to trigger a further wave of interest. DMSL is advising dealers and resellers to place advanced orders for this device.

“There will obviously be a lot of additional interest in the iPhone X and we see this as a further and incremental opportunity. But yes, it will sell out fast and pre-ordering the devices as soon as plans and tariffs are known is advisable.”

DMSL will be making sure that the web pages of its Broadband and Phones (BaPs) channel programme partners are right up to date and details of the BT Mobile packages for the Apple iPhone 8 models will be available on the websites from today. With BaPs, resellers get their own branded web pages that allow customers to compare the different options available for mobile, hosted voice and connectivity services. DMSL also provides active lead generation and marketing support to partners as part of the BaPs programme. More details are available from www.broadbandandphones.co.uk.
