Datech Telesales Hub puts the focus on Autodesk renewals

Basingstoke, 06 March 2017 – Datech, Tech Data’s specialist CAD-focused business unit, has launched a Telesales Hub that will make it easier for partners to address the massive potential in the wider market for Autodesk solutions with smaller customers and renewals.

The new resource has been set up to help Autodesk partners target and manage the large number of users with between one and five seats. It will work with Autodesk and its partners both to maximise renewal rates and drive new business.

The process for renewals can be tailored to suit a reseller’s preferences. The usual process will be for an email reminder to be sent 60 days before the renewal date, followed by a series of calls. Datech will even tailor scripts for each partner. In a pilot, the Telemarketing Hub increased renewal rates amongst smaller customers significantly.

Datech will also be working with Autodesk to follow-up on smaller customers who have downloaded trial versions of its software. The Telesales Hub will call these users to assess their interest and establish if they have a preferred reseller. Once qualified, the information will be duly passed to the preferred or most appropriate partner.
