  • Gives independents more scope to compete

Basingstoke, 24 September 2018 Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) has extended its long-standing partnership with HP Inc to make the vendor’s full range of Pavilion-branded systems – including 2-in-1 devices, notebooks and convertibles, all-in-ones and desktops, available to UK retailers and resellers.

The agreement makes it easier for all retailers – and independent buyers in particular – to take advantage of the enduring popularity of the HP brand amongst consumers and the comprehensive stock, delivery and credit services that Tech Data offers across the UK and Ireland.

Catherine Craig, Business Manager, Consumer Technology Group at Tech Data, said: “It’s fantastic news for our retail and reseller customers that we can now offer the full HP Inc consumer range of laptops, 2-in-1s and desktops from stock. It will make it easier for them to meet the constant demand that’s out there for the HP brand amongst home and smaller business buyers. We’ll be doing everything we can to make sure that we can meet their needs and can maximise the excellent opportunities this extended agreement undoubtedly brings.”

The HP Pavilion range covers the complete spectrum of requirements, from simple models for home or student use, to powerful and stylish systems designed specifically for gaming. In addition, there is an attractive selection of All-in-One devices and an impressive collection of x360 convertibles that sell extremely well.

For example, one of Tech Data’s current best sellers is the HP Pavilion x360 14-ba016na, which comes with a Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, 14-inch WLED, FHD touchscreen and HD Graphics 620. This retails for around £650 and is just one example of the exceptional performance and value Pavilion systems offer to customers.
