Pre-packaged solution bundles built on data, AI and IoT technologies

BARCELONA, Spain. – Feb. 3, 2021Tech Data today announced a range of pre-packaged technology solutions focused on making remote and physical workplaces safer, more resilient and more productive.

A recent study of attitudes to the workplace covering 4,700 knowledge workers found that, in the wake of the pandemic, only 12 percent want to return to full-time office work and 72 percent want a hybrid model combining remote and office work. Faced with this new reality, companies are looking for technology solutions that enhance safety in the workplace, while maintaining productivity and collaboration.

The catalogue includes solutions for queue management, traffic lights systems, alarms to encourage social distancing as well as digital signage, push notifications, track & trace and retail traffic analysis solutions. Telehealth solutions offer unique cloud-based GDPR/HIPAA-compliant workflows, video conferencing and vital signs monitoring. The catalogue also contains innovative AI-based solutions which check if masks or other mandatory protective equipment, such as goggles or helmets, are being used when employees enter a workplace, triggering an acoustic warning signal or closed entrance in case of non-compliance.
