Basingstoke, 04 March 2021 – Tech Data has announced Cisco 1Source – an online self-service portal within its InTouch ecommerce platform that makes it really fast and simple for partners to turn estimates and deals registered on the Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) system, into hard quotations – in real time.
As 1Source is fully integrated with CCW, as soon as the data is available on the Cisco platform, it is also available on InTouch. The only thing partners need do is log in to InTouch and start building their quotes, allowing them to deliver a faster, more responsive service to their customers. The tool is now fully available after a successful pilot phase and it is already being used by the majority of Tech Data’s managed Cisco partners.
According to Tony Nevill, director, Cisco, at Tech Data, UK and Ireland, 1Source is the only platform of its kind. “We have put a lot of effort into the development of 1Source and we believe it will really help Cisco partners to save time and win more business. It can be frustrating for partners when they have to wait for bids or deals to come through. Being able to get a quote done and out to the customer without any delay can make a huge difference. This is one more reason why it makes sense for Cisco partners to work with Tech Data as their distributor of choice.”
Cisco partners who have experienced 1Source have been impressed.
