Tech Data appoints dedicated BDE to advance Microsoft SPLA for partners

Basingstoke, 29 February 2016 – Tech Data has appointed a dedicated Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive activity on Microsoft’s Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) scheme, which gives resellers a way to offer Microsoft solutions as part of their own hosted service.

Oscar Ulander was previously part of the Microsoft Business Development team. He will now be 100 percent focused on spreading the word about SPLA and supporting partners on every aspect of the programme.

SPLA enables partners to offer their own independently-hosted Microsoft cloud services to end-user customers. There is growing demand for assistance on Microsoft SPLA and as a leading distributor for the vendor, Tech Data is ideally-placed to offer additional support on the scheme, said Mark Whittle, Microsoft Business Manager at Tech Data.

It is now much easier for services resellers to see how SPLA fits into their overall proposition.
