Android devices are proving to be as popular with business customers as they are with consumers –strong focus on driving awareness gets positive results
Basingstoke, 01 October 2015 – Tech Data Mobile has reported strong early sales of the Samsung Galaxy S6 range with as much uptake amongst businesses as consumer buyers. The swift acceleration is the result of Samsung’s excellent demand-generation campaign and the strong focus that the distributor has taken to driving awareness and managing product availability.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were launched in a blaze of publicity in the spring and were soon followed by the S6 Edge plus. Samsung has supported the launches with extensive advertising and publicity and all three models have been very well received in all segments of the market.
Following its appointment as a distributor for the full range of Galaxy mobile and tablet devices in June, Tech Data Mobile worked closely with Samsung to ensure resellers would have immediate access to the products as demand ramped up. This is a clear indication, not only that Android is becoming much more accepted and used as a business mobile platform, but also that Samsung Galaxy is becoming as much of a recognised and trusted brand in the B2B sector as it is in the consumer market.”
