Basingstoke, 14 September 2016 – Tech Data Mobile expects to see strong demand for the new additions to the Moto family now being made available to dealers and retailers, ensuring further momentum and added gains for Lenovo Mobile Business Group (MBG) in the smartphone market.

Lenovo MBG has now launched the ultra-thin and powerful Moto Z series of premium smartphones and the more affordable Moto E3 range, which – with its new 5-inch, 720p HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and an RRP of under £100 – looks set to be a real contender in the value end of the market.

The new releases will build on the success of the Moto g4 Play, which is quickly becoming a best-seller following its launch last month. The positive response to these announcements demonstrates that Lenovo MBG is really making headway in the market, says David Brassington, Director of Vendor Management at Tech Data Mobile.

“There is something for every customer in the Moto range and the brand is building an even stronger reputation for offering great features at exceptional price points. Consumers love them and they are selling extremely well, so we see the new Moto releases as excellent growth opportunities.”

The already-popular Moto g4 Play comes with a quad-core Qualcomm processor and 1GB of memory as standard. It has a 5-inch, 720p HD (1280×720) screen, all-day battery, and comes with a pure, clutter-free version of Android 6 Marshmallow, so it is simple and reliable to use.  There is an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

The Moto Z has an ultra-thin, metal and glass design and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.  At only 5.19mm, it is one of the thinnest smartphones available and its 5.5-inch Quad HD display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass and aircraft-grade aluminium chassis make it highly durable.

It also has a fingerprint reader for added security. TurboPower™ Charging can provide up to eight hours of battery life in 15 minutes. It also supports Moto Mods™, which can be used to enhance and expand the phone’s capabilities and performance.

The Moto E3 has a 5-inch LCD touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera. It has a quad-core 1GHz processor and 1GB RAM as standard.

Various options and add-ons are available for all the Lenovo MBG phones and Tech Data Mobile also stocks a full range of accessories, providing dealers with plenty of opportunities to drive additional value. More information can be found at www.techdatamobile.co.uk.
