Tech Data makes BitTitan available on StreamOne cloud platform

Basingstoke, 19 May 2016 – Tech Data has made BitTitan, the cloud enablement services provider available on the StreamOne platform, making it easy for resellers to access and use its solutions whenever they are needed for a customer transition.

BitTitan’s market-leading MigrationWiz and DeploymentPro solutions provide a fast and easy way to transfer mailboxes and data from any platform to Office 365, with auto-scaling and configuration in the cloud and zero downtime.  The availability of these solutions in via StreamOne will enable resellers to manage migrations to Office 365 quickly and efficiently.

The solutions are ideal for use with the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, so existing Microsoft partners will be able to access and use the platform immediately and with complete confidence, benefiting from a fast, accurate and streamlined ordering process. Tech Data has been closely involved in the introduction of the CSP program in Europe and is the exclusive distributor of the BitTitan on a pan-European basis.

BitTitan solutions are already being used to manage a number of migration projects for Tech Data customers and the company expects many more to be initiated in the coming months. Lon Clark, Global Alliance Manager at BitTitan, welcomed the addition of BitTitan’s MigrationWiz and DeploymentPro solutions to StreamOne.

Using StreamOne, resellers can easily transfer Microsoft customers’ Open and Advisory subscriptions to the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. The user interface has been enhanced to make it simple for both the partner and customer. Transfer of domains, acceptance of terms and conditions, and verifications are automated. Consolidated billing means that all end-users and subscription details are provided in on a single invoice to the partner. Alternatively, one invoice per end-customer can be issued.

Tech Data is also making further enhancements that will make purchasing and identifying add-on options, such as additional storage for Office 365, very simple. These will be implemented by the end of May.   Going forwards, partners can expect regular releases of enhancements to the StreamOne platform.

Via the Tech Data Cloud, resellers can offer and supply a wide range of cloud services from leading providers, including AirVM, Cisco, IBM, HP, Microsoft, Veeam and VMware. These services make it possible for resellers to offer cloud options without making significant up-front investments and gradually build their skills and capabilities as customer attitudes and needs evolve. They can make use of the StreamOne platform to manage all customer interactions and billing.
