Tech Data is named Dell EMC Distributor of the Year 2017

Distributor recognised for driving new partner engagement and sales growth on Enterprise and Client business with the vendor’s top award for the UK channel

Basingstoke, 26 July 2017 – Tech Data has been named Dell EMC Distributor of the Year 2017 for the UK by Dell EMC in recognition of its exceptional performance and growth in a competitive market over the past 12 months.

Over the past year, Tech Data has driven strong growth for Dell EMC on both the Enterprise offering, via its Azlan business, and in Client solutions. Simon Bennett, Enterprise Director, Azlan, said: “Dell EMC’s exceptional Enterprise and Client technologies have tremendous appeal across the whole spectrum of the market. We’ve created some innovative business development and support programmes for partners and experienced significant growth in all sectors. Dell EMC’s support has been invaluable in helping us to achieve that success. This award is a recognition of the strength of that partnership.”

Tech Data is planning to build on its achievements, he added. “We see more opportunities with Dell EMC and we plan to work even more closely with the company and to bring forward new and more creative and effective programmes that will fuel growth in all markets. Dell EMC has some very exciting plans in the Enterprise and Client categories that will bring tremendous potential for growth to its partners.”

The award was presented to Tech Data at the Dell EMC Partner Awards 2017 ceremony in London.
