Basingstoke, 07 January 2016 – Tech Data has appointed its first ever dedicated Business Development Manager for Epson printers and peripherals. Destiny Keeys, who has worked in BDM roles within the Print and Supplies business unit for over nine years, has been appointed to the new post and will be supporting resellers in taking Epson’s Go Green and Grow message to market.
The new role has been created following a period of sustained growth in Epson sales for Tech Data. The vendor’s recently updated WorkForce Pro series have become extremely popular and Epson has also made strong progress with its EcoTank range, while sales of the company’s scanners have also grown as more organisations look to digitise paper-based documents.
Destiny says she is looking forward to working closely with Epson and its partners. “Epson business has grown for us quite significantly and now, with specific focus and business development plan, we can place even more emphasis on key markets and opportunities.”
Epson is continuing to push its strong eco-friendly message in all markets and its Go Green and Grow promotion has been extremely popular, offering customers the chance to buy two qualifying printer or scanner devices at a discount of up to 45 percent. The company is also promoting a strong message around the cost-savings that can be made by replacing existing laser printers with its Workforce Pro inkjets and has provided a simple-to-use online calculator to illustrate the potential savings – see www.epson.co.uk/gb/en/viewcon/corporatesite/cms/index/10083.
