Tech Data Appoints Andy Gass to Senior Vice President, Digital, Europe

Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that it has appointed Andy Gass as senior vice president, Digital, Europe.

Barcelona, Spain (November 22, 2017) – Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that it has appointed Andy Gass as senior vice president, Digital, Europe. In this role, Gass will drive the development and execution of the overall digitalization strategy for Tech Data in Europe, leveraging and optimizing the distributor’s ecommerce platforms, digital marketing practices and automated processes across its operations in the region. Gass will hold this responsibility in addition to his current role as SVP, UK & Ireland and will continue to report to Patrick Zammit, president, Europe.

Gass joined Tech Data in 1993 and has since served in a number of senior roles, including senior vice president, Enterprise Division, and regional senior vice president for Western Europe. He led several initiatives to formulate the long-term strategy for Tech Data’s UK and European operations and was instrumental in the successful completion of numerous acquisitions over the past decade.
