Tech Data joins the Android Enterprise Recommended program

Distributor validated to offer specialist expertise for Android mobility deployments in Europe

BARCELONA, Feb. 27, 2019Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced it has joined the Android Enterprise Recommended program. The Google™-led program aims to give partners more confidence in deploying Android™ to their customers while ensuring those enterprise mobility deployments are as consistent and current as possible.

Under the program, Tech Data will bring the latest best practices from Google to help partners simplify their mobility programs, allowing for agile and efficient growth using Android.

As an Android Enterprise Recommended Partner, Tech Data will provide its customers with:

  • Technical expertise and leadership with Tech Data personnel trained by Google on implementing and supporting Android
  • Experience with Android Enterprise Recommended enterprise mobility management systems
  • A close working relationship with Google for planning and escalation issues
  • A commitment to staying current on the latest Android product features and training requirements
