Senior technical executive to paint a picture of how technology visions can be turned into real-world business and growth opportunities for member companies
Warrington, 16 March 2016 – Synaxon, the UK’s leading dealer services group, has revealed that Alison Vincent, Chief Technology Officer for Cisco UK and Ireland, will be one of the keynote speakers at its annual member conference in Nottingham this summer.
Vincent will speak on the subject of Digitisation at the Tomorrow’s World-themed event, explaining and how Cisco is helping to accelerate the pace of change and enabling partners and customers to monetize new technologies. As well as Vincent, this year’s conference agenda will see the conference addressed by Gulf War veteran and best-selling author, journalist and broadcaster, John Nichol, and security lead at MAXfocus, Ian Trump. Cisco will also be one of the main sponsors, along with distributor Ingram Micro and LogicNow (the publisher of MAXfocus).
In addition, two of the UK’s top distributors, Tech Data and Entatech, along with IT business management software leader, Autotask, have been confirmed as Gold sponsors. Microsoft will be sponsoring the gala dinner on the first night of the conference. Three of the market-leading printer vendors, Brother, Canon and Ricoh, have also been confirmed as exhibitors, along with Western Digital Inbay, B-Silque, and Dansk Computer Centre.
Mike Barron, UK Channel Director of Synaxon UK, says: “Having Cisco’s support once again speaks volumes for the quality and status of the Synaxon UK Conference. It has become a must-attend event, at which our members and supplier partners can gather knowledge, exchange views and feed off the energy and enthusiasm of the whole channel. Technology is all about making tomorrow’s world a better, brighter, more efficient and more enjoyable, and it will be great to have Cisco, one of the industry’s leading technology innovators, taking centre stage on a Synaxon platform once again.”
The Synaxon UK Conference takes place at the East Midlands Hotel and Conference Centre in Nottingham, on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 June.
Now in its sixth year, the group’s member conference has become a key networking event for channel companies. Over 300 pre-arranged meetings took place a last year’s event and thousands of informal conversations were held at exhibition booths and during the gala dinner. Synaxon’s team has already started work on booking one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and members and companies that wish to attend are advised to contact the organisation as soon as possible.
