Romford, 17 October 2016 – DMSL has recruited six new staff, swelling the headcount in it Romford offices to 36, to meet growing demand from resellers and ensure the continued growth of its broadband and voice businesses.
The company has also taken more office space at its London Road location. All of the new recruits have joined the internal sales team providing direct support to resellers and driving recruitment for DMSL’s main partner suppliers, BT, Gamma, Virgin Media Business and Vonage.
John Carter, Managing Director of DMSL, says: “We’ve seen rapid acceleration and growth in both our broadband and voice services business in recent months and we don’t expect that to slow down any time soon. The additional staff will ensure we can cope with the demand, keep giving resellers the support they need and keep on growing.”
DMSL is the number one indirect distribution partner for BT Business Broadband and after signing a distribution agreement with the company in the summer also offers ultrafast broadband services from Virgin Media Business. Through its Cloud Telephones business, it provides Gamma’s leading hosted VoIP solutions for business and at the beginning of September it added Vonage’s cloud voice services to its portfolio as well.
Carter says that recruiting additional resellers for all its supplier partners is high on the list of the company’s priorities. “We have made excellent progress with Virgin Media Business and with Vonage in terms of reseller recruitment and sales, and we’re still looking for more partners to come on board for both programmes. While we have a well-established group of resellers for both BT and Gamma, we are always looking for new partners for these companies as well. The opportunities keep coming right across the board and it’s important that we offer resellers a range of choices that will meet all the needs of their customers, wherever they are located in the UK.
“As they adopt cloud services, businesses are finding they need faster broadband. They are very much aware of the investment that’s being made in fibre roll-outs and they are eager to take advantage of ultra-fast services. It’s the same story with VoIP. Increased broadband speeds allow smaller businesses to do much more with their connections; they know that voice works perfectly well over IP and offers huge advantages over conventional lines.”
This is creating an ideal selling environment for resellers, says Carter. “It’s a perfect storm. Faster broadband is driving VoIP uptake and more use of cloud services, and that’s driving demand for more bandwidth. It’s the perfect time for resellers to start engaging on these channel programmes and taking higher speed connections and voice services to their customers.”
DMSL has recently announced that Virgin Media Business’ 300Mbps Ultrafast Broadband is now available via distribution for the first time. As well as access to the fastest broadband portfolio on the market, DMSL is offering new partners in-depth training, access to sales and marketing toolkits and its dedicated indirect partner team, plus excellent commissions and the prospect of significant recurring revenues.
