Romford, 11 October 2016 – Cloud Telephones, the specialist VoIP and connectivity services distributor, has announced that its reseller partners have now deployed more than 3000 seats of Gamma’s Horizon hosted VoIP service in the UK.
With each seat producing recurring monthly income for resellers, the current installed base can be expected to generate well over £1 million in revenues in the current calendar year. Cloud Telephones recently recorded its first month in which billing for the services totalled more than £100,000 and it confidently expects to add a further 2000 seats before the end of 2016 and to double the installed base by the end of its financial year in April 2017.
The growth is being driven by the increasing popularity of hosted services and the availability of higher-speed broadband, said John Carter, Managing Director of Cloud Telephones, and is a very good sign for resellers.

Once they have experienced Gamma’s service, many customers will increase the number of seats they have, Carter points out, and the growing reputation of the service means that sales can be expected to increase at a healthy rate. “The number of enquiries we receive and pass on to our resellers continues to rise each month and we confidently expect the growth we’ve seen in both the user base and revenues to continue.”
