Enterprise division of Tech Data recognised for achieving exceptional growth and market share, supporting business development and enabling partners for AirWatch EMM solution
Basingstoke, 01 August 2017 – Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that Azlan, Tech Data Europe’s specialist brand for the value-added distribution of enterprise networking, server, storage and software solutions, has been named VMware Distributor of the Year 2016* for the UK and Ireland. Azlan was recognised for its exceptional sales growth and market share over the past 12 months, as well as its success in enabling partners for AirWatch, VMware’s market-leading enterprise mobility management platform.
Azlan grew its VMware sales by 36 percent and increased its market share, making it the number-one VMware distributor in the UK and Ireland. This was achieved through a strong focus on meeting the needs of both major established VMware Premier Partners and accredited resellers servicing the mid-market and SMB customers. The exceptional growth was founded on the strong partnership between the two companies, said Peter Spreadbury, director, Enterprise Software for Azlan.
